Vintage Bloom Petit Point Bolo Tie, c. 1960's

DESCRIPTION: This Bolo Tie was made by artist D & W and combines countless turquoise pears into a clustered design. Each stone is carefully, and painstakingly, set into a sawtooth bezel and supported by sterling silver orbs that add even more interest. At first, the design looks delicate when you consider each of its components individually. But, when you take it in as a whole, it’s quite bold—the perfect piece to brighten up your neckline. Plus, the playful blooms dangling at either end of the cord add just a touch of whimsy to an otherwise classic petit point design.
