Arizona-based silversmith Joe O’Neill of Falcon Trading Company works in traditional tufa casting, creating sterling silver jewelry rooted in the techniques and forms of the American Southwest.

Joe spent six years apprenticing under Prescott silversmith Randy “Bubba” Shackelford, learning the tufa casting process and developing his own approach to the craft. When Shackelford retired from jewelry making in 2020, Joe began working independently, carrying the knowledge of his apprenticeship forward while continuing to develop a style distinctly his own.
