Vintage Morenci Navajo Naja Feather Necklace
This powerful vintage piece features an intricately carved Naja flanked by a double strand of sterling silver beads, also called Navajo pearls. The crescent-shaped Naja has long been a symbol in Native American jewelry design and is thought to bring the wearer luck. Hand-cut turquoise arrows and rectangles offer bright color, in stark contrast to the sterling silver backdrop. The unique shapes speak to how special this perfectly-aged piece from the 1940’s truly is. It’s a bold representation of classic Native American jewelry design. This necklace has a hook clasp and is 24 1/2 inches in length.
